    James Carpenter is considered a leading architectural designer with a strong background in developing new and emerging glass and material technologies.

    Seminar for educational institutions

    This seminar will be an oppertunity for all institutions with a glass program to meet and discuss education in glass.
AiR KADK Bornholm
Selected artists will be given the time and space to develop a new project or body of work in glass.

The programme includes information on EGC events as well as Adjoining events and will be updated on a regular basis.

Artist in Residence
European Glass Context 2012 are organizing a series of Artist Residences in cooperation with partners on Bornholm and with European partners.
Educational seminar
An educational seminar will challenge European and international educational institutions with focus on glass to discuss relevant themes for glass education
Conference
This conference will spotlight and address current themes impacting contemporary European glass. The studio glass movement is now celebrating it 50th anniversary as an independent artistic practice.
Workshop - Shifting Place

EGC2012 Exhibitions
2 extensive exhibitions will in each exhibition category show the work of 2 glass artists from 30 European countries. The work of 95 artists will be presented in the exhibitions.

Bornholm is surrounded by the Baltic Sea and one of Denmark's most beautiful islands. You ca reach the island by ferry or airplane.
